My dad offered the liquor cabinet to me and the twin to have a little bit here and there. Today, we broke open the Sauza Tres Generaciones Anejo Tequila for the first time. I'm not one to take tequila shots, so I didn't. I did try a little without any sort of chaser, mixer, and this stuff is pretty damn smooth. There is no burn, no sick feeling, there really wasn't even much of an aftertaste. In a margarita, it wasn't overpowering at all, I'm used to making margaritas with Jose Cuervo and adding as much tequila as I can and it is still bearable. This tequila was great. It is without a doubt one of the better tequilas i've tried thus far.
Next time we try it, I'll probably do some shots, and I'll let you all know how it goes down.
My dad's friend got it for a present from him while visiting Mexico, I did some quick research and found it to be ~$45 a fifth. I'd highly recommend giving this tequila a try if you are into tequilas, period.
