Default Cherry Wheat

Ok I went out on a limb last night and picked up a sixer of Sam Adams Cherry Wheat. Let me tell you, I was VERY disapointed. It smelled great and the color was perfect but when I took a drink it didn't taste like anything. No beer flavor no fruit flavors...nothin'. Now it was good enough for me to finish my sixer but as far as future purchaces...not on your LIFE! Anyway I had to rant...go AR.com!!!

Try posting this in the Beer Review section, however.

I've heard good things about that beer but I have yet to find any.

Man... maybe you got a bad batch or something... when I had it all I could taste was cherries and it was a little too sweet for me. I didn't particularly care for it because of that, but a lot of people like this beer.

If you didn't taste any cherry flavor then you got a terrible batch. That beer is bad ass

Is it readily available? Maybe I'll try to get a six pack tomorrow.

Mine was like 8 bucks. I could taste the cherry but it wasn't much. Maybe I was just expecting something else...still give me a stout of that anyday

I personally enjoyed the subtle taste opposed to it being overpowering

Ya know.....the first time I tried a Sam Adams I thought it tasted like soap

I have yet to venture back to them. Except for the OctoberFest.....which was pretty good

I was thinking the exact same thing, I jumped-out there and purchased a dozen, I was pleasantly surprised. Although, I thought the cherry flavor and sweetness was a bit overdone. Will buy again.
