Liquor of choice
What is yours?
When price is considered, Wild Turkey 101 is tough to beat.
But if I'm willing to spend a bit more, then I'm a Wild Turkey Rare Breed kind of guy.
And if I'm willing to spend even a little more, then Jack Daniels Single Barrel is high on my list.
Overall, I'm going to have to put Wild Turkey Rare Breed as my Number One. The JD may go down a little smoother, but the Rare Breed has a higher alcohol content, so it affects me a tad bit quicker than the JD.

Just Vodka in general. There can't possibly be a more versatile liquor in existance. Seriously.
If I had to pick one type of vodka it'd probably be Grand Khan. I'll make a post about it some other time.

I've never had rarebreed, but I think I'd be willing to give it a shot sometime.
As for my favorite liquor.... I'd have to agree with progressiverain about vodka, whether I do shots, mixer, or just sip on it, vodka is probably my favorite liquor. As for my favorite, I'd have to say Ketel One.

Grey Goose is the best vodka I can get at any of my local bars so I go with that if I am going to drink liquor.

I'm going with Pierre Ferrand Sélection des Anges for cognac and Glenmorangie 25 for scotch. Couldn't choose between them.

I wish I had that kind of money
I'm stuck with your typical $30/bottle scotch (Chivas, Pinch Dimple, et). I'll step it up to green label, a 15 year single malt or chivas 18 for special occasions.

For everyday drinking, Gentleman Jack is always #1 for me.
Can't afford the Single Barrels. Only special occasions.

Jack Daniels has more of a defined s***e taste and Gentleman Jack seems lighter-bodied.
Very subtle difference but noticeable.

Bookers when from 46 to 60 awhile ago.
So did Glenmorangie Lasanta. Everything is going up just because it can!

So how much is it now? Last time I bought it(which was awhile ago), it was around $24-$26 per bottle.

Wow! That's a heck of an increase
In N.C., which is all state regulated, a 1/5th is $30.95 as of May 1, 2009. Not cheap, but good
