Default Bowmore Legend (Scotch)...

I just picked up a bottle at the liquor store because I wanted to try a single malt scotch and this was the only one they had. Although it was only $23.99, I can still say that I'm not impressed. From the moment you open the bottle you are greeted with an unpleasant aroma. Things only get worse from there - as this poison enters your mouth, your tastebuds are meet with a fiery sensation and left with the taste of rubbing alcohol after swallowing. Obviously, I would avoid this scotch.

I forgot to mention that I drank it both neat and with a bit of water. The water didn't help much.

I'll try mixing it with some Coke to see if that makes it stomachable.

Hmm, that's pretty cheap for a single malt. Did you detect any peat aroma's at all?

Use it to start your charcoal.

No, but I'm not well versed in scotch.
