Default Mad Anthony's APA

This beer pours an amber color with a decent amount of head. It has a very pleasant, sweet aroma. Upon initial taste, you are greeted with the subtle hint of malt followed by chocolate (this may be unique to me, but I swear I taste it!). Unfortunately, this is as complex as this beer gets. The aftertaste is hollow and watery, and I can't help but find myself wanting more. If this was a Corona/Miller Light/Coors Light type of beer, I would say it was amazing; however, seeing that it's a micro-brew, I have higher expectations. This beer had the potential to be superb, but instead I can only label it as decent. If you see it on the shelf, give it a try, but I wouldn't go out of my way looking for it.
