I'm going to get a case for next weekend. I would get one for this weekend, but it seems like I won't be drinking.

I used to drink this and the Winter Lager but ever since I tried their Black Lager (which I hated) the Octoberfest and Winter Lager always reminds me of it taste wise so I cant drink it anymore, one of those weird little things.

Yea, so? That doesn't automatically mean it will only be available in October.

I loved their Black Lager.
I plan on trying to find some of this October Fest sometime this week.

Sam Adams October Fest is s*** beer imo, the same for Blue Moon's October fest. Dogfishead "Pumpkin Ale" ftw. Although, I do enjoy Sam Adams Cream Stout during the winter months.

I was in Boston for Thanksgiving and my dad and I went to the Sam Adams brewery for a little tour. At the end of the tour they let us have 3 seven oz samples. The first was the regular Boston Lager. The second was the Winter Lager. The last one was Sam Adams Pumpkin Ale. It absolutely s*** all over every pumpkin ale I've ever tried, including Dogfish Head. Of course, they only brew one batch a year for the company Halloween party, but it was that damn good.

I agree - I had a few on tap at a golf course a few months ago, and it was very good.
