In an East/West alcohol exchange, Merp sent me a some bottles of his home brew earlier this week.

I just cracked one open.

I don't normally do the heavier beers, but I must say, this stuff is tasty.

The closest thing i've ever tried that it might remind me of is Dos Equis Amber. It packs alot of grainy/hoppy flavor, and isn't the slightest bit bitter.

Good stuff Merp.

Thanks dude!

Matt

Is that mug chilled? I was always under the impression that you should never drink beer from a frosted glass because it distorts its flavor.

Yeah it was chilled. I'm not a beer expert. I normally just stick to the light Mexican stuff or Bud light.

FWIW, It's not chilled anymore. The first one is 2/3rds gone and it still tastes pretty good.

That's cool, I was just wondering because I thought you were a beer snob.

Let's just be thankful they don't post here.
