Talking About to Buy a Kit

So......I was at one of my jobs the other day and I drive by Home Brew Mart

I stop in and check things out.....I'm thinking about picking up one of the kits
I was looking at this one : Welcome to Home Brew Mart

Anything I should know.....or get differently?

Looks like a badass kit. I'm a noob to brewing and have only used a Mr. Beer, but it's definatly a very fun hobby I'd reccomend to anyone.

That's a bad ass kit. However, I don't suggest starting your new hobby with glass bottles. When carbonating (or if you bottle before your brew is done fermenting) pressure builds up in the bottles. I still use plastic bottles to brew in just for that reason. Glass bottles blowing up wouldn't be a pretty site Also, I HIGHLY suggest buying this book.......Amazon.com: The Complete Joy of Homebrewing Third Edition (Harperresource Book): Books: Charles Papazian

just ordered the book. im prolly not going to get into brewing for another couple months but till then ill read up on it.
