Need help and useful advice

Hey hows it going, I was looking up alchol forums and found this one and seems really cool so I wanted to post my question here. I have a friend whos coming up for winter break, and he hasn't had a alcholic drink for 7 months since he went to job core. So my deal with him was I was going to hit him (buy him) with some bottles when he came and we would drink them. I trying to think of a good liquor thats not too strong but has a good flavor and good proof to get us messed up but not stupid drunk. I have around a 40-50 dollar spending limit and really we just need one fifth but if you can think of the prefect combo them please share I would appretiate any help. So my main goal is just to welcome him back and see him messed up again....

Vodka and energy drinks are pretty easy for people who don't drink very often.

Vodka + Energy drinks...

No need to spend a fortune on the vodka if you're mixing it either. You won't be able to taste the difference unless you're a seasoned drinker, and maybe not even then.

I actually like everything but i'm use to having everything straight without chasers its how i got use to drinking really.....I haven't had much mixed drinks since I started drinking cause with our group of friends ur considered a wuss if u want a chaser I guess its how we do things in washington. But I'm a tequila and rum kind of guy while my friend is a "what will mess me up most" kind of guy
