Stone Vertical Epic 2007
f***ing
If you can find this stuff near you.....get it! Definitely fruity and belgian-esque.
Vertical Epic '07 has a release date of 07/07/07.....the '08 will release on 8/8/08 etc....
Stone Brewery has brewed this special edition since '02 and it looks like they will stop in '12. I guess each beer is brewed to age until '12......but I didn't feel like waiting that long
I've had this stuff at their brewery, and I found this bottle in a little hole in the wall store next to my moms house.

Unfortunately down here I'm only limited to a few DFH selections. Of course if you can't get any over there then that would be helpful.

Well, I have boxes that hold 12 beers in them, is there anything else you might want? If you wanna check my list you can, there are over 300 on there now.

Well.....anything else that you'd like? We've got a few different local brews. I can get just about anything Stone.
Any styles or brews that you can't get? Belgiums, Hefe's?

Actually, I'd just like a Stone mix if at all possible. I've had Arrogant Bastard, IPA, and Ruination IPA. What other ones are available?

I'll head over to the store tomorrow and let you know what I come up with

Perfect! I'll take all those MFs except for the IPA as I have already had it. Lmme know what all that will cost and I will get you 12 down here with Dogfish Head and some local stuff. If you can't get 12 different Stone, just throw some local stuff in or whatnot.

Ok....I got the Levitation, Old Guardian, Ruination, Smoked Porter, and the Oaked Arrogan Bastard. My brother is heading out near my moms house tomorrow where I know they have the Vertical Epic.
I also picked up some Ballast Point Yellowtail Pale Ale, and Ballast Point Wahoo Wheat

Edit: I also talked to one of the guys at the store and he mentioned that the rep from Stone came in and made a comment that Stone was going to be re-releasing some of their old stuff

I think it was around 45 for what was in the picture. The Oaked Arrogant 6 packs are like 14 bucks
Do you want me to split up the 6 packs (3 of each in one)? I was trying to find 750's of everything but I couldn't.

Yeh, split up the 6-packs and add the Vertical Epic and I am going to try and go by my place tomorrow. I didn't get a chance to go today. I'll post up a pic of what I get as well.
Have you had Barbar, any Rogue brews, Shiner brews, St. Arnold brews, Breckenridge brews, or Left Hand brews?

Dragster, you should negotiate for at least 2 DFH 90 Min. IPAs. Trust me - once you've had one, you'll want another!

I just had the Vertical Epic for the first time last night and it was damn bad ass. I was quite impressed at how well it hid the 8.4% ABV. You can tell it has a lot of alcohol but after a couple sips it blends in very well. Very good beer
