Bad liquor

I'm seeing a lot of sweet recommendations as far as liquor, but does anyone have a brand they love to hate?

Mine's Popov. That is some awful-tasting s***. Personally, that crap doesn't belong in a screwdriver, never mind my Bloody Mary.

Yeah, Popov is pretty low, but at least it's cheap. I usually grade my bad liquor on some sort of price/foulness ratio

i.e. if something is vomit inducing but costs more, it automatically gets a lower rank in my book.

Here's an example, Rebel Yell Kentucky Bourbon review I bought that thinking it was going to be something in the way of Old Crow, or Old Grand Dad, but it seriously tasted like it was fresh out of the still with brown dye added

And not to mention like 12 bucks overpriced.

In general, I don't really care for whiskey, although I am finally starting to come around to it again.

Popov, I used to drink that s*** all the time with a friend of mine, we'd split a bottle of the 100 proof version.. I got to a point I could do straight shots of that s***.

In general though, I don't go to Popov much any more, if I want a cheap vodka I normally steer towards Burnetts.

I despise Captain Morgan s***ed Rum. I cannot shoot that stuff. I do find that it mixes well with apple cider/apple juice, but beyond that I don't touch it.

Nothing else comes to mind, but I'm sure I'll add more as I remember them.

HRD, Potters and Oregon Springs. I haven't done side by side, but Oregon Springs is particular nasty and it's quite costly for how nasty it is. ($6.30 for a fifth). You can buy two dozen cans of yummy soda for this much.

I retract my earlier statement about whiskey. Whiskey is one of my best friends now.
