Got Wood? We Do!
Wood-aged beers are a favorite of ours (Immort Ale , Burton Baton, and Red & White to name a few). So much so, that we have three big wooden tanks in our Milton brewery now! One of the tanks is made of a South American hardwood and lends the specific wood notes to our Palo Santo Marron. The two other tanks are Oak. All three are already busy conditioning various Dogfish beers! We are so excited about them that we've even made a movie about 'em!
If April showers bring May flowers... what do April beers bring? How about happy Dogfish drinkers?! We have quite a few releases heading at you this time of year. In April alone, we're putting out Aprihop, Midas Touch, 120 Minute IPA, Black & Blue, Palo Santo Marron. In May, Immort Ale is hitting the stores. And that doesn't even include the plethora (love that word!) of year-round beers we have out there.
Cali beer lovers... you've been asking... and we ARE listening. We're happy to let you know that we are coming back (in a very limited way) to California! Beginning this month, we are shipping limited amounts of three Dogfish Head beers to our wholesale/distributor partners in California. 90 Minute IPA, Palo Santo Marron, and Midas Touch are heading west. Click on the link below to find our new CA distributors and give them a shout out. If they don't have the beers yet (remember, we said LIMITED AMOUNTS), they will soon - so be nice to them!
And we don't mean on the ground....! Dogfish Head beer is appearing at beer dinners, samplings, beer festivals and a bunch of other random events across the entire U.S. of A. From Vermont to Georgia... Texas to Seattle... and up and down the California coast.... and that's just in April! Stay plugged in to our monthly Happenings Calendar and join us on our never-ending Dogfish Road Trip.
One of the very exciting upcoming events where you'll find us is SAVOR - don't miss it. Tickets are on sale now (and can only be bought ahead of time... no tickets will be available at the door) for this brand new craft beer and food event. It happens in DC this May and you don't want to miss it. Nearly 50 craft breweries (and we mean the actual brewers and brewery employees) will be on-hand serving their best stuff. Dogfish will be there and our own Sam Calagione will be speaking on Saturday night!
Still Time To Get To The Brewpub Before the Summer Crush!
Summer is coming and in Rehoboth Beach that means the beach crowds are not too far away! But, there is time to shoot into town for the weekend and drop in on Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats without fighting the beach traffic.
Right now we have Theobroma on tap (it's not even coming out in bottles until the end of the summer) and a Brewpub Exclusive Braggot in the fermentation tanks!
We're open 7 days a week for lunch & dinner, we have free wi-fi, and live, original music every Friday and Saturday night.
Sold-out crowds enjoyed both nights of the 2008 Off-Centered Film Festival in Austin, TX earlier this month. Hosted by Dogfish Head and The Alamo Drafthouse, Lake Creek, the festival was full of beer, beer, and off-centered films. We had tons of fun - sorry if you couldn't make it. But... you can watch our top four films!
We may have just the spot for you! Think it'd be fun working at a Dogfish? We have current openings for a brewer, a restaurant manager and more. We are even in prime hiring mode for summer brewpub help (head back to school this fall with some Dogfish cash-o-la !). We're having two Summer-Job Open Houses at Dogfish Brewings & Eats next week - c'mon in.

Save The Date For The 2008 Dogfish Dash
We've got the date... now your turn... start training! The 2008 Dogfish Dash is set for Sunday, Septemeber 21st. Not only will you get some good 'ole fashioned exercise (it is a 5K/10K road race), but you will help us raise lots of money for the Delaware Chapter of The Nature Conservany and their mission to "protect ecologically important lands and waters for nature and people." Did we mention there's beer at the end of the race?

So....I did some work today and found out where in San Diego I could find me some DFH. On my way home from work I picked up a 4 pack of 90 minute and a 4 pack of Palo Santo
14.99 a 4 pack though Is it usually that expensive?
90 Minute is usually expensive but well worth it IMO. It's still the best IPA I have ever had and I've had a bunch. I haven't had Palo Santo yet. I need to go find that s***

The 90 is the cheapest of the three out here. I'll have to pick up some Midas Touch later.
Yeah...only at that little liquor were they that expensive.
At Bevmo I can get the
90 Minute for 9.99
Midas Touch for 12.99
Yeah that sounds about right for the 90 minute, that's a bit much for the Midas Touch though. I would probably pay it because that's my absolute favorite

Midas Touch is very good, but it's so freaking sweet!
