Default Lots of Dogfish Head News....

Thought some of you might find some of this informative.

Welcome to our April newsletter - lots of great stuff here... read on!

Got Wood? We Do!

Wood-aged beers are a favorite of ours (Immort Ale , Burton Baton, and Red & White to name a few). So much so, that we have three big wooden tanks in our Milton brewery now! One of the tanks is made of a South American hardwood and lends the specific wood notes to our Palo Santo Marron. The two other tanks are Oak. All three are already busy conditioning various Dogfish beers! We are so excited about them that we've even made a movie about 'em!

Click here for more on the wood... and to watch the movie!

That's Not All....

If April showers bring May flowers... what do April beers bring? How about happy Dogfish drinkers?! We have quite a few releases heading at you this time of year. In April alone, we're putting out Aprihop, Midas Touch, 120 Minute IPA, Black & Blue, Palo Santo Marron. In May, Immort Ale is hitting the stores. And that doesn't even include the plethora (love that word!) of year-round beers we have out there.

So....I did some work today and found out where in San Diego I could find me some DFH. On my way home from work I picked up a 4 pack of 90 minute and a 4 pack of Palo Santo

14.99 a 4 pack though Is it usually that expensive?

90 Minute is usually expensive but well worth it IMO. It's still the best IPA I have ever had and I've had a bunch. I haven't had Palo Santo yet. I need to go find that s***

The 90 is the cheapest of the three out here. I'll have to pick up some Midas Touch later.

The Palo was 12%

A case of 90 Minute costs ~$50 here (depending on where you go...at one of the cheaper places it was $47.99.).

Yeah that sounds about right for the 90 minute, that's a bit much for the Midas Touch though. I would probably pay it because that's my absolute favorite

It's still balanced though. Btw, were you still thinking about coming down and touring the brewery?
