Dried out cigars

Hey guys I recently found a few cigars that I bought a long time ago that weren't properly stored in my humidor. Would the be alright to smoke if I put them in the humidor to "remoisten?" Any input would be great, TIA!!!

Someone posted in here that you can re hydrate your cigars. You just have to bring them up slowly. I will see if I can find the post. may take a month or two. I have always wondered if there is a point when they are too far gone though.

if your going to rehumidfy cigars you have to do it slowly, bring them up a few %rh for a few days then a few more %, They will never be the same as they were to begin with but they will be smokeable. If you put them in a high humidity environment right away they wil probably pop as the binder and filler expand quickly and the wrapper doesn't allow for the expansion.
