Personally, I like when a brewery takes a few chances with a beer. Sometimes the results are good, sometimes they are not so good. Dogfish Head makes a couple different beers that have the taste of some other fruit in it. One is called Fort (brewed with raspberries) and the other is called Punkin Ale( brewed to have the taste of....you guessed it......pumpkins). Both taste incredible, yet still retain the essence of what beer should be. Hell, I had this one beer that was brewed with blueberries(I think it was called Sea Dog) that was even great. I don't know about you but I like trying new s*** For the record, what kind of beer fo you prefer?

Newcastle Brown Ale.
What I meant was ADDING fruits and veggies to a beer. It ain't right!
Now making beers with different ingredients...I have no problem with that. If I don't like it...I don't drink it.
One of the BEST tasting beers I had in Germany had a slight hint of banana flavor. I think it was called WEISSBEER.(made with wheat)
