You can sell it to me for ten dollars

Just kidding. That's a kingly gift Unfortunately, I don't think you can sell it on ebay, or craigslist. You would have to do it at some sort of live auction or something along those lines. Why don't you hold on to it, as an investment. I'm sure as long as it remains unopened, and the whole package in good conditions, the value will only go up.

I will consider your $10 offer...

But I was hoping to sell the item so I can invest in some other things. I was just wondering if there were any reputable places online that were devoted to buying back spirits or auctioning them off.

That stuff costs around $1,500 - $1,800, right?

Is this it?

Yes, that is it and yes it does fall into that $ range.

I threw it on Ebay.

http://cgi.ebay.com/Remy-Martin-Louis-XIII-Cognac-750-mL-Unopened_W0QQitemZ300266424676QQcmdZViewItem?hash= item300266424676&_trkparms=39:1|66:2|65:16|240:131 8&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

However if anyone else thinks they can make a better buck off of this item through another source you know of, purchase it from me for $1200 plus the insured shipping (about $40) or pick it up and save on the shipping (so. cal).

Or..

Lead me to some other place where i can get this thing sold.

Thanks everyone.

An alcohol auction site would be pretty cool, but I'm not sure if it'd take off or not.

Plus, you'd have to look into the legalities/expenses behind it.

Naturally... That shouldn't be too hard though. I wouldn't actually be selling anything, so I think that'd make it easier.

True. Too bad we're not three years in the future or I could advise you.

Someone from another store in my location lost their job over that bottle.

Sold it to a guy with a stolen credit card... how hard is it to check an ID? I mean really, especially on something with that type of dollar value.

Im not selling the liquor. I am selling the Baccarat decanter, case, and box. Since the collectors item has not been opened, there is still the original fluid.

So no i am not selling alcohol. I am selling a collectible piece of Baccarat. :P
