Have you had this?

So last night after a fraternity formal we were running out of mixers but not out of rum!!! I made sure we would have plenty for the night's festivities.

Anyway, I mixed Capt. Morgan's s***ed Rum with Sprite and found it to be pretty good. I liked it a lot actually. I usually just mix it with Cherry or regular Coke, but this wasn't bad at all.

Your thoughts?

I've noticed lately I have started mixing almost everything with a light soda.
Although I usually stick with 7&7

I think part of my reason is that I feel better in the morning (give or take)
I don't drink alot of cola, and when I get enough in me a get a stomach ache.

I just started drinking Captain and Coke... I'll have to try it with Sprite.

Same here, I only drink coke when I'm mixing and it's so sugary and caffinated that it takes away from the experience. I usually try to just mix with sprite since it's the only soft drink I drink.

Captain and Diet Coke w/ a lime (The lime is a MUST, changes the entire flavor of the drink) was my drink of choice in college. I have to have it w/ diet coke becuase if not it is too sweet for my taste.

Captain Morgan Reserve is some good stuff and a couple more proof stronger.
