I remember this from last year. I think I might have only tried maybe two of the beers listed.

Haha.....I've had a few of them.....maybe 3-4. A lot of them are small breweries that are really hard for me to get.
I would really like to try the Ithica Flower Power. IIRC it went pretty far last year.
I'm rooting for Stone (obviously!!), Green Flash (another local establishment) and Dogfish Head

How does this work? I'm too lazy to read the page, but I noticed that round 3 is in Philly and I'd love to check it out.

The Judging Process: All judges will be brewers. They will be organized into panels of 3, and given the task of choosing the best IPA between two beers. The judges will not know what beers they are being served. The majority rules on the voting.
A steward will serve the panel the two beers (Sample "Alpha" and Sample "Beta"). The beers will be served in clean, small cylindrical glasses. Each sample will be a 3 ounce pour. Once the preferred IPA is chosen, the panel will move to the next sample. No panel will judge more than eight pairs.
At the completion of the judging session, the names of the beers will be revealed to the panels and audience at large. The winners will be posted to the web site within 24 hours. Sign up for the Beer Brackets email (click here) and we will let you know the moment the results are posted! Good luck!

Interesting. I'll look into the Philadelphia event. It's held during spring break, so I should be able to make it.

Dogfish lost in the first round again I see, like last year. Why do they enter that damn 60 minute IPA instead of the 90 minute I wonder.

They had a thing on the site that you could pick bracket winners. Whoever picked with the highest percentage wins a case of the winning beer

Wow.....
I had no idea Big Dog's had good beer. I've been missing out apparently. Definitely going to try and hit one of their locations up this week.
I see the Moylan's made it through. I wish beer wasn't so mysterious because I have never heard of their 'nor cal IPA' and apparently neither has google. The Moylan's IPA I had was alright but certainly nothing special.
