FAKE, COUNTERFEIT ALCOHOL

Anyway to spot a fake, counterfeit alcohol just by its bottle?

Are you referring to alcohol that contains methyl as opposed to ethyl alcohol? I don't think you should really be that worried about it unless you live in Russia. If that isn't what you are talking about, would you be a little more specific?

Hmm.. I found some paint or marker mark at the bottom of the alcohol bottle, i bought few yrs ago. My dad suspects that the alcohol might b fake. He says ppl inject dont kno what from the bottom, n use paint to cover it, to prevent leakage.

Are these true? or the paint mark at the bottom is norm?

I have never actually heard of that. Honestly, it sounds more than a bit far fetched to me. Alcohol tends to erode paint anyway IIRC. Where are you posting from, and what is the brand of alcohol?
