Rogue American Amber Ale review

Picked up this one the other night for $4.99. The only other Rogue brew I have tried up to this point has been one called Old Crustacean, which I thought was nauseating. However, I decided to give this one a go, and I was fairly impressed.

To be honest, it kinda reminded me a lot of DFH Raison D'Etre. The taste had hints of caramel, and raisins, and the finish was smooth with a tinge of bitterness.

Overall, I think it's a pretty solid beer, and I would buy it again. Though, between this, or a six pack of raison d'etre, I would choose the raison. I think I shall have to pick up some more Rogue offerings

Rogue does make some pretty good stuff. I really like their Dead Guy Ale

I'll have to pick one of these up.....not sure if I've tried one yet

Rogue makes so many better beers than the two you've had. Try these if you can find them:

Chipotle Ale
Chocolate Stout
Shakespeare Stout
Hazelnut Brown Nectar
Morimoto Soba Ale
