Holy s***, this knocked my socks off. It's basically using the four years aged JB, and infusing it with black cherry. But it isn't considered a liqueur, it's eighty proof just like it's older brother. Got a fifth for around $17.99.
It is so smooth that no mixing will be necessary, though I tried it with coke just for the purpose of being thorough. I'm now drinking it over ice. A lot of black cherry flavor here, but I wish you could taste a bit more of the good ol' Beam through it. You will smell a bit of ethanol, but you will taste almost NONE. It's sweet but it will
not cloy you like sweet liqueurs. However, like in my WT: American Honey review, I will say that this may not appeal to hardcore bourbonites, but it's such a simple yet effective concoction.
This is a fairly risky maneuver, but I think it will pay off in opening up some new markets for Beam. Some risks should have never been taken, see Beefeater: Wet

, talk about f***ing up a perfectly good gin, I hate it. This however, I think will have a good run

Totally would buy again
