Default Glenfiddich 18 year Scotch Whiskey

Yum.
Now this is a Scotch with some flavor! It has some fruit and honey flavor, but the complex s***es really stand out- especially after adding an ice cube or two. You can really taste the oak in the aftertaste in the back of your mouth. There isn't much smokey flavor in this thing. It's more of a floral/fruit and s***es type scotch.

The texture is fantastic. A nice thick, smooth "gel like" texture rolls over your your tongue as your swirl it around a bit. And it's VERY smooth. It might just be the smoothest 18 year single malt I've tried, edging out the MacCallan. It's close though, so don't go throwing all your Mac18 bottles out just yet. This is an exceptionally easy Scotch to drink.

The color is fantastic- a burnt orange mixed with gold.

For $70, it's a great scotch. Highly recommended.

I concur. My sister bought me a bottle for Christmas two years ago, and it was fantastic.

Sounds great, haven't tried Glenfiddich yet. Only recently started to dabble into Single Malts. Had Glenmorangie Original and Glenlivet. I liked the Glenmorangie between the two.

Perhaps I should try it. I only started drinking scotch whisky a few weeks ago. Just tried Aberlour and the Macallan; I prefer the latter.
