Nah, we were just watching what was going on. The first night (Thursday), we got f***ing tear gassed walking to Rite Aid. The cops were just walking down the street, throwing canisters. One girl tried to get to her apartment, and the cops proceeded to tell her to f*** off and then sprayed the entranceway with gas. s*** was ridiculous.

Then the second night we went out (Saturday), we were walking around watching the s***. We were standing in a small crowd. Across the street, some girl was getting yelled at by the cops to leave the sidewalk. She was trying to walk away, but cars were on the street. A cop then ran over to her and punched her in the face. Students started screaming at the cops, so I told my girlfriend and the other couple we were with that it was time to get out of there. Two seconds later we hear shots then people started screaming and running down the street.

The whole scene was just ridiculous. Instead of concentrating on the protestors, cops turned against students that were just out watching the action. They were going into bars and throwing tear gas. One one instance, they trapped students in a tunnel and gassed and shot rubber bullets at them. I'll try to find the video on YouTube.
