If you do buy it, just have them drag it across the asphalt before you take delivery. Just to get that unpleasantness out of the way.
p.s. That bike is pure tits.

they offered me $2k for my bike. Blue book (private sale) is 5k. Dealer trade in is ~$3500.
I put it up on craigs list for $3600 firm. We'll see what happens. If it sells this week, that bike is mine

That's when you open your trenchcoat to reveal the bomb vest.
Negotiations then begin in earnest.

Tray wants to pop that cherry for himself.
He'll knock it over on the showroom floor.

So......when was Tray's last post/online activity, when might he have gone back to dealer?
I'm wondering if he sat on it while in the showroom, dumped it and gave himself a concussion because he wasn't wearing the helmet of painted horror

I feel the same way about the silver. At least I can get red gear. I don't know WTF I'm supposed to do on the black/silver besides all black. I don't want that for safety reasons alone.
I'm considering getting the silver one and just painting the plastics black.

I could make it into this with black wheels.
or
Well, it's about $600 for all the fairings on ebay. I could sell my fairings for that price +/- $200 fairly easily.
The black/red scheme costs $200 extra
I kinda want an all black one with the blue wheels

It's plenty fast. There are other reasons behind getting a new bike though.
I just want a different bike- I've had this one for 3 years or so. 1000s have more low end torque which is nice and they cruise at much power RPM on the highway, which is very nice.

Yeah, our security company was replaced and it's been great here. I still lock my bike up though. It's not going to stop a pro, but it will stop 95% of other attempts
