they offered me $2k for my bike. Blue book (private sale) is 5k. Dealer trade in is ~$3500.

I put it up on craigs list for $3600 firm. We'll see what happens. If it sells this week, that bike is mine

The black/red scheme costs $200 extra

It's plenty fast. There are other reasons behind getting a new bike though.
I just want a different bike- I've had this one for 3 years or so. 1000s have more low end torque which is nice and they cruise at much power RPM on the highway, which is very nice.

Yeah, our security company was replaced and it's been great here. I still lock my bike up though. It's not going to stop a pro, but it will stop 95% of other attempts
