Default Just got back from the track again

Had a great time. Most fun you can have for $100 and still run for political office.

There was some newby there with a gsxr 1000 though. First time on any track, ever.

Okay, if you've never in your life been a track, especially if you have a gsxr 1000, and a veteran track rider offers to take two laps with you at a slow pace to show you the lines and the lay of the land, take him up on his offer.

This was my second time there and I did the two laps laps with him. I came in to drop some tire pressure, went out for one lap and my suspension was unstable as a pregnant woman on a diet. Before I could even get in the pit and take my helmet off, the caution flags were up.

The guy crashed already The veteran rider was right behind him when he crashed. On the ride home (we carpooled) he turned to me an was like"wtf? what the hell was that? There was absolutely no reason to crash there! He was going slow as hell and he was still way off the line! He was coming out of the turn and just low sided for absolutely no reason."

I did fine. I'm getting much better.
The bike is ridiculous. Honestly, there is no good reason why this bike should be

I've never been a track. I've been a cad. I've been a vagabond. I've been a bum. I've been a criminal. I've been a hero. I've been a villain. I've been a bad boy. I've been a good boy. I've been a fat boy. I've been a muscle head. I've been a student. I've been a teacher. I've been a preacher. I've been an angel. I've been a demon. I've been a guitar player. I've been a piano player. I've been a player. I've been a sap. I've been a lot of things. But I have never in my life been a track.

Does your insurance company know you are up to this tom foolery?

For a small fee, I won't tell.

I love my new Pirelli tires
