Vin Rose made by Carlo Rossi. We call it Vin Diesel because it gets you pretty tipsy with two large cups of it

Yellow Tail Chardonnay
Yellow Tail Shiraz
These two stick out in my mind... I don't have that much experience with wine. Pretty freakin cheap though.

That's good and so is the Sutter House. Jewel (grocery store) has it 2 for $7. Can't go wrong.

Everything I've ever had from Yellow Tail is pretty damn good, especially considering the price. I guess my least favorite was the Shiraz Grenache, but it wasn't terrible.
Overall, the value is great.

Sutter Home White Zinfandel is my favourite cheap whine. I've found it numerous places for $8 for a 1.5L bottle. I recently tried Beringer White Merlot and it's also pretty good, barely more expensive than the Sutter Home stuff.

One of the girls I am dating brought over a few bottles of Matin & Weyrich, Moscato Allegro. I am not much of a wine drinker, but that s*** was damn good. We ended up drinking 3 bottle of it.

I like the Charles Shaw Cabernet from Trader Joe's - "2 buck chuck," the other variants offered (Chardonnay and Merlot) are less impressive. Usually around 2.99 at any Trader Joe's, which has a number of great and inexpensive wines. I'm also a fan of Little Penguin Merlot, which is a great and surprising merlot with strong fruit and vanilla bean hints; it retails for 4.00 to 7.00 here.
Finally, my favorite inexpensive wine is the entire line of Papio. Papio wines are great in taste, very fruity, very smooth - their bouquet is also very balanced and complex for a "cheap" wine. They make a cab sauv, pinot grigio, merlot, and chardonnay - all of which are amazing. Retails anywhere from 3 to 8 dollars here depending on where one shops, and alot of that money is shared with the African Wildlife Foundation. You should all check out their website, very lighthearted. Papio Wines - Age Verification

I'm a huge fan of both their merlot and cabernet sauvignon. It's definitely one of the better "cheap" brands. I consider anything under $15 to be pretty damn cheap, so I'll lump another favorite in - Chateau Ste. Michelle...I enjoy their cabernet sauvignon as well.

It doesn't get any better than two-buck chuck (now more like three-buck chuck) if you want cheap wine that is still decent. Charles Shaw is sold at Trader Joe's and I don't know how it can be that cheap and still be decent, but it is.

Go look at my list of wines in my thread for the 2 cases I ordered. The NON-Reserve Mondavi is what I would consider "cheap" yet good, like I suggested.
Sorry, I don't do boxed wine.

Regardless of what you may consider cheap, in the grand scheme of things $15-25 is not really 'cheap' wine.

I bought my boyfriend a bottle of Big Ass, I think it was the merlot. It had a big kangaroo on the front and was like $7. He said it was really good.
I also like Toasted Head and Bella Sera. I only drink reds though.

Either Woodbridge or Beringer White Zinfandel. I've never been a fan of Sutter Home.
Lately, the Ernster and I have been drinking a lot of Mead. It's about $9 a bottle from the Farmer's Market.

Carlo Rossi Burgundy. I hate they way Sams club just pushes that awful sweet paisano and sangria. They used to carry a beautiful Almaden Merlot, but stopped, why?

Charles Shaw
Or "Two Buck Chuck" as it is so lovingly known as (i think the price is $3 nowadays)
I think its a west coast thing, its shockingly good wine for 3 bucks. It is one of the better wines, on par with current Sterling
People buy this stuff in BOXES because its sooooo good and soooo cheap

If I'm going for cheap of the cheap, nothing like a good jug of something from Carlo Rossi, Almaden or Livingston line up. However I've strayed from Almaden as I no longer receive shipments in the glass jug, but in a box and am told bottles will be no more. For some reason the glass jug brings back the memories of jacking a bottle from moms cased jug wine stash and running it out to the tree house with my buddies at about 10 or 11 years old.
Reasonable priced, I enjoy Woodbridge Shiraz but I've actually discovered a really great reasonably price Cab called Dreamboat. Right now my store has instant $5.00 coupons for the stuff. Napa Valley Cabernet in a 1.5L for $12.99 (after coupon) is a f***ing steal if you ask me.
