Default European cheap beer > American cheap beer

FTMFW...

I was in France for a while and drank this s*** like water... it's (cost-wise) their Bud-Light or whatever, just the most common cheap mass-produced beer, but it has the quality of America's more expensive brewed beer... anyone have similar experiences?

Well there are always a few exceptions to every rule but I would have to say I'm correct 95% of the time.

So far, I've yet to find a cheap beer (american or european) that is as good as High Life. Seems most euro cheaps are too hoppy
