Default Dogfish Head

Favorite brewery by far. Anyone who hasn't tried their line of IPA's is missing out. Especially the (imo) Holy Grail of IPA's their 120minute IPA, delicious and 20% abv. Other limited edition beers by them worth mentioning are the Worldwide Stout(strongest dark beer in the world IIRC, and full bodied as hell), and Fort(brewed with raspberries ). I haven't tried a beer from them I didn't like.

I'll bet you tried the Raison D'Etre, it's like their most common beer. Oh well, I drink my share of piss beer too, Keystone and Natty light for teh cheapness.

I agree 100% Luckily I have family in Maryland and they have a Dogfish Head bar up there with their beer on tap. It's almost Heaven!

It takes a while for your palette to figure out what good beer is and what bad beer is. What you drink is bad beer. Dogfish Head is the s***.

Nice dude. I still need to try their Snowblower ale, I think it's only sold on tap.

I haven't had that one either. The ones I have had are these with my rating next to them.....

60 Minute IPA - 9
90 Minute IPA - 10
120 Minute IPA - 10
Aprihop - 8
Burton Baton - 9
Chicory Stout - 9
Midas Touch - 10
Raison D' Etre - 8
Shelter Pale Ale - 7

I have an Excel spreadsheet of all the beers I have ever tried with the brewer, name of the beer, type of beer, ABV, and my rating

Ahh, so you finally tried the 120 minute eh? What did you think when you first tried it, obviously you liked it from the rating, but what were you thinking. And you should try to add the Worldwide Stout, Fort, and Pangaea to that list. Pangaea was ok, maybe about a 6 or 7, I don't know how you rate yours. You also have a few up there that I have yet to try

Yes, I went to Central Market one day to get some beer and they had a bunch of 120 Minute there and I was like The first thing I thought was holy Jesus you can tell it has 22% ABV It's a lot different than the other IPA's but it was damn good. I will definitely get around to trying the ones you siggested but alot of their beers are seasonals and limited editions so it's hard to find them.

It could be their Indian Brown Ale.

I love DFH but I can't drink their IBA.

Just picked up a 4 pack of it to try for the first time. Wow, I completely agree with the 10 rating. You can really detect the honey in this beer.

Um, I think the 60min IPA (6%) is their most common beer. I'm surprised to see nobody has mentioned their Pumpkin Ale, with it's perfect blend of brown sugar and other seasonal s***es. I look forward to it every fall.

That beer is fantastic, one of the best beers I've ever had.

Yeah I think you're right. I only said Raison because I couldn't imagine the IPA tasting like a "burnt peanut". And "Punkin' Ale" is extremely good

Keep looking. Pretty sure they are one of the most rapidly expanding micro-breweries around. If you can't find anything now, you might in the near future.

It's (60 min. IPA) my "usual" because the restaurant downstairs from me is the first place I tried it and that's what I always get there now, and the bar a block away has it on tap. The 120 min. was awesome, but pretty spend-y (I think it was like $10 for a 12oz.) The 90 min. is also incredible and I have it every chance I get. I haven't tried any of the others, but based on the recommendations here, I will now.

P.S. Any of you guys that don't have it in your area and want to try it, PM me and we can work something out. I'm like to help people out when I can, and beer is my passion so it would be my pleasure.
