Power Hour
Kinda surprised that nobody else has posted this up yet. Basically everyone just sits down with beer and a shot glass in front of them. You proceed to take a shot of beer every minute for an hour. Depending on how well you fill your shot glass it usually equates to roughly 5-7 beers for the hour. A game most people (including myself) would only be able to play to start out the night.

Century Club > Power Hour
Same rules, but 100 shots in 100 minutes. It works out to 13.5 beers in 1:40.

Me and some buddies are doing the Power hour/Century Club on Thursday night I believe... I'll be sure to give a full report on how it turns out.

There are a few downloadable programs that play about 58 seconds of a song and then give a buzzer to let you know to drink then start another song for 58 followed by the next buzzer. You can set it to play random music or load your own playlist and also you can set the buzzer sound, we like to use one of our random friends yelling in an Arnold S voice.
Also there are a few rules to the challenge that we play with; no getting up to use the bathroom (have played with other things like; if you do use the bathroom when you get back you have to take an extra shot after catching up on any you miss), the worst part about the no bathroom rule is that if you make it to the end of your 60 minutes, when you stand it hits you hard.
Also when playing with a group of close friends we like to all get the same beer so we dont get people complaining that someones beer was stronger, etc.

I play power hour a lot... I think I figured it out to be...
a shot is 2 ounces... there are 12 ounces in a beer... so it takes six shots to finish a beer (six minutes) that's ten beers/ hour right?
