Default Widmer Hefeweizen

Good stuff. I LOVE wheat beer and this is probably the closest to the wheat bear I used to brew when I was back in WV. If you see a 6, pick it up, you will like it if you are a wheat beer fan

Widmer is my "every day" beer... it's pretty much what I drink when I want something cheaper and easy to find. I've visited the brewery and sampled all of their lineup, Widmer makes some pretty good stuff.

And yeah.. it's a great Hefe. It's even better on tap.

I've probably been keeping Widmer in business over the last few years... I've literally gone through cases of their Hefe.

Yeah, that's a cheaper beer for me. Unibroue is like $8.50 a 750ml bottle up here.

ws6dude, I'm sure you have tried Live Oak hefe. How does it compare to Widmer?

You can only get Live Oak at bars (Gingerman, Fado, Opal's, etc.) or you can get it in kegs. If you have the chance, try it out.

I tried it for the first time tonight. Here in East Tenn it wasn't cheap.

'Neat' on visiting the brewery and trying the lineup.
