Default Sam Adams Winter Lager

I just drank one of these beers and it was very good!! It is one of the better Bock style beers than I have had in a while. The head did not stay very long after it was poured into the glass. I didn't taste any unusual s***es as I thought there would be. I will buy this beer again.

Wow, I was just about to cover this one. I had it as well and I liked it. It had a great flavor, but I too did not think the seasonal s***es made themselves readily apparent. I thought it tasted great and was nowhere near as sweet as the Black Lager.

It didn't appeal to me much when I tried it, but it's been awhile. At the time I think I was just coming out of my "s*** beer" (read Keystone) phase and just beginning to try new beer, I'll have to give it a second try.

The winter lager was my favorite out of the seasonal pack I picked up at Sam's back around thanksgiving. Very good and only re-enforced that I love Sam's seasonal brews but hate the original and light.

I don't really hate them, but Cherry Wheat FTW.

I got it in one of the samplers. It had good flavor, it was just very sweet. Like sticky mouth sweet.

Cherry wheat is ok, try and find Cranberry Lambic in the winter sampler packs. It's amazing and is only sold in the samplers unfortunately. I live about 5 miles from the Sam Adams brewery and have had the good fortune to tour it several times. They have a small brew pub inside and are quite generous with samples, including the rare stuff like Double and Triple (almost impossible to find - 18% abv.) Boch.

Me and Jared have had a 6 pack a piece of this beer a few weeks ago. I enjoyed it a lot, and will be getting it again.

Good beer. I liked the Oktoberfest better but this is still a good one to.

After drinking two 6 packs this past weekend, this may just have become my all-time favorite beer
