Aussie wines are my favorites. Some of my favorite labels are Penfolds, Cape Mentelle (especially their 1999 shriaz), Omrah, and Boolaroo. Penfolds is by far my favorite.

Penfolds, Cape Mentelle, Yellow Tail, Stanton & Killeen...
Australia makes some good non-Port Ports as well; Benjamin, Seppelt, and Rosemount especially.

I had some Yellow Tail Merlot. It was decent and cheap.
I had another one called Black Opal Merlot that was good for the price to. I would buy it again.

I had some Little Penguin at Noble Rot the other night - not bad stuff. They were showcasing Aussie stuff. The Pinot was utter s***, but the merlot and cab sauv were very decent.

Yeah, I'm particularly fond of their merlot and cab sauv.
