Vermouth

I've heard a bottle of vermouth lasts a long time once opened. Anyone know how long? I drink a lot of martinis, but use a vermouth sprayer and only a little bit.

Well, from what ive read. Vermouth is supposed to be refrigerated, and it should last like 6 or 7 months before starting to go south. I think I have had an opened one sitting at room temp for about a year

But I used it like a month ago, and it didn't taste too funky (at least not anymore than usual

), I also used that little trick you mentioned about putting some in the martini glass, swishing it around, and dumping it out. It worked well

I think my bottle is well over a year old and I'm still using it. Unrefrigerated.
