La Terrible pours a very dark brown color, nearly black with a decent tan head that is small, but thick. The head lasts for a while, just remaining very faint with some lacing. Aromas at first are of chocolate, coffee, alcohol and rich dark fruits. Flavor progresses as it warms, sweet at first, then bringing out more powerful notes of the dark fruits, raisins and plums, as well as the aroma.
