I grabbed a rack of Bar Harbor Blueberry Ale (Atlantic Brewing Company). It's not as good as I would have liked. I just finished the first one - straight from the bottle. I think I'm going to put the next one in a glass with a few blueberrys.
I like many of the 'fruity beers' I've tried. I wouldn't want a steady diet of them, but I don't mind them once in a while.
The best is Watermelon Ale - Boston Beer Works has it, if anyone has been up that way.
Anyone like fruit beers? Although I'm thinking the answer will be "no" based on some of the other threads I've read in here.
I've had Unibroue Éphémère Cranberry and wasn't too impressed. It was overly carbonated, and was nothing like cranberry, more like a blueberry or blackberry. Of course that was faint because it was so "sparkling" or fizzy.

Their Apple Ephemere is better than the cranberry, IMO.
I tried, "Weach" which is a peach-flavored wheat beer... and it was pretty good. Most other fruit beers I didn't care for.

Some of them I hate, some of them I love. Sam Adams Cherry Lambic is the only beer I've ever took one sip of and poured down the sink. On the same token, Lindeman's Framboise is probably the best tasting "beer" I've ever had. I can only drink like one though. The store I go to was out of Lindeman's when I went, so I got some other brand of Framboise to try. I also got me a 750 of LFDM because I know it's the s***.
As far as a lighter fruit flavor, Purple Haze is also a personal. I guess it's just something about raspberry+beer=good to me.
Dogfish Head Fort, is raspberry flavored, and it is my second favorite beer of all time.
Fort isn't for beginners though It might blow the eyes out of some beer drinkers on here I like.....
Dogfish Head Fort
Dogfish Head Punkin Ale
Pyramid Apricot Ale and Hefeweizen
Sam Adam's Cherry Wheat
Unibroue Ephimere (Raspberry)
Pete's Strawberry Blonde
Lindeman's Framboise(Lambic, all flavors)

I would recommend the Sweetwater Blue if you want to try a good blueberry beer.
It's weaksauce. It smells amazing, but the first time I tried it I felt as if something were missing from the brew. It sounds crazy, but it was a 'hollow' beer, it wasn't as rich as some of the other fruit beers I've tried.
To date my favorite is Lindemans Cassis (Black Currant)
Yes. I personally have had the Kriek (Cherry) , and the Framboise (Raspberry). They also have Pomme (Apple), Cassis (Black currants), Pêche (Peach), and Gueuze Cuvée René, which I have never even seen and don't know much about. It is described as;
Quote:
Possibly the oldest beer, Gueuze (Geuzza) is unseasoned, wild-fermented wheat beer. It is highly coveted by gourmands in Belgium who lay it in their cellars like wine.
Golden color, cidery, winey palate; reminiscent, perhaps, of bubbly dry vermouth with a more complex and natural flavor. Style—Gueuze Lambic
They are around 2.5% IIRC, not stong at all, but damn tasty.

I thought I sent a bottle of Cassis to you. If not whoops, that stuff is damn good.
The Green Apple is way to sweet for me. It tastes exactly like an apple jolly rancher.
Got to try this for the first time tonight - very good! (I bought a 'variety pack' so I only had one Apricot Ale, and my wife ended up taking it...I'll get more of this the next time I'm at the store.)
I almost forgot, I went down to the Dogfish Head brewpub the other day and had a sample of one of their new offerings called Festina Peche. It had a peach flavoring to it. I didn't really have enough to get a good sense of it, but the little I had was great. It wasn't supposed to be released until June, but they hurried it up in order to unveil it at some beer convention(I can't remember what the name of it was)

The pub manager said they plan on bottling it, so you probably have a good chance of laying your hands on some when they finally put it into full production.
