Default Johnny Walker Blue - Hype or No?

My dad was out with some business friends and one of the people had JW Blue. He's not a scotch drinker, and he said it tasted amazing. Now, the majority of the alcohol I consume comes in packages of 8, 16, 25, and 30, but if I am ever going to spend $200 on a bottle of scotch, I want to know I'll be getting my money's worth. What are your opinions on this 'amazing' drink?

I've heard places charging $35 a shot for it.

I've had it and it was very tasty. If I could afford it I would definetly keep a bottle in my house.

for something that will only get drunk on special occasion $200 for a bottle doesnt seem unreasonable. something to keep around for company. figure if a bottle of other lquor will last anywhere form a couple days to weeks and if this one last a few months it isnt that bad.

I'm not a scotch drinker at all, but I really liked it the one time I had it.
