Default Dog Fish Head 90 Minute Imperial IPA

Dog Fish Head 90 Minute Imperial IPA

An Imperial/Double IPA brewed by
Dogfish Head Brewery
Milton, Delaware USA

Bottle dated 7/24/06. Pours a reddish-copper hue, with a nice sized off white head that dies down and leaves decent lacing through out. The aroma of this beer is amazing, not overpowering, but attention will be drawn from a small distance away. Strong floral and citrus hops, with a nice lingering finish.

I know there are quite a few that love this, post your thoughts please.

I enjoyed this beer quite a bit. DFH has several great beers IMO. Midas Touch was a pleasure to drink as well.

I'm awaiting that in a soon to happen trade.

I missed out on picking up a 4 pack of it.

It is unique. I really enjoyed it, but I don't think I could drink more than 1 in a sitting, very flavorful. Pretty strong as well.

MT was my third favorite, but it got bumped once I tasted DFH Zwaanend'ale.

You could really detect honey in that one

It's been out for a while, and it's pretty limited. It was brewed to commemorate the town of Lewis' 375th anniversary (back in the day Lewis' name was Zwaanendael, hence Zwaanend'ale) It only comes in 750ml, and you may not to get to lay your hands on it, because I THINK they aren't producing it after '06, but there's still some floating around. IIRC, it was quite sugary, orangish in color, somewhat of a peachy taste to it. I know that's not a really helpfull review but I only had it once, and that was months ago Google it and im sure you'll get a better review.

I've been meaning to try their 90 Minute because I really enjoyed the 60. How do the two compare?

Very much so. The story behind the beer was interesting as well.
