Sorry no picture, not really needed though.
I found this on the $1 shelf as a can. Pours a nice amber color with a small off white head that disappears quickly. A light aroma with flavors of caramel, and maybe light bread. Decent mouth feel, though a bit light, even on the finish. Medium carbonation.
This beer rivals Ziegenbock Amber in Texas, though outsells it greatly. I still like Ziegenbock more than this, but it is not a bad brew. Both are lighter ambers but are a definite step up from the typical BMC that many are fond of. I'd suggest a beer like Shiner or Ziegenbock (preferably) for those of you wanting or trying to get into 'real' beer scene, as they are a bit more complex than the typical light lager/pilsners.
This could be an everyday typical beer that almost anyone would consume without complaint.

I wish I could get the Shiner beers here, I've read many good things about them.

That's actually one that I can get around here. It's not bad at all.

I had a Shiner Light tonight. I may post a review of it, but in short, it has a little hop taste and is fairly 'watery'. Drinkable, but nothing special at all.
