Any one else like Jameson? I've only really had it as a shot but its not bad. Friend of mine went to ireland last month and brought back some kind of special bottle and had shots of that last night, really really smooth.

I drink probably American and Irish whiskey the most, here's a drink that combines both, and it tastes pretty damn good
1 1/2 oz Jim Beam
1 1/2 oz Jameson
1 can Guinness
2 oz Bailey's
1/2 oz Irish Mist
Combine the Jamie and Beam in a mug, pour in the Guiness, and top off with the Bailey's and Irish Mist, enjoy It's kinda like an off-shoot of the Irish Car Bomb.

Sounds like something I could try. Might be a stupid question but what kind of glass do you put that in? Thats like 17 1/2 oz of alcohol, or is that for 2 people?

Definitely not a stupid question, you can't really serve it in the normal pint glass (like an irish car bomb)because it's like 16 oz. So just find something that holds more, it's not like a nice brandy or scotch that you need a certain shape glass to bring out the flavor. I have a big glass mug that holds probably around 40 oz. of liquid, and I put it in that. Plus I like my drinks a little stronger, so I doubled up on the amounts
Also, another decent Irish blended whiskey is Tullamore Dew, and a good single malt that I like is Bushmills.

Not sure why you would do shot's of Jameson's, I just got a bottle of Special Reserve, it is extremely smooth and easy to drink. Sipped on that on the rocks last night...so nice!
