After the first sip, I really didn't like this beer. As I got about half way though, however, I began to enjoy it. It has a very "crisp" feel to it and it almost feels like I'm drinking champagne. It's very sweet and the taste of apricots is present although not overbearing. Strangely enough, it has a bitter aftertaste despite its sweetness. Very interesting beer.

*Note: I did not have a glass available to me (the picture is from wikipedia.org), so I am drinking directly from the bottle. I will provide an update tomorrow when I drink the beer from a glass.

I just got done sampling the same beer with a glass. The glass I used was a "water goblet" which probably isn't ideal, but nevertheless it sufficed. My overall impression of the beer was much higher tonight. The crispness I described in my initial review was much reduced. The taste seemed to be much more subtle and overall the blend of flavors was much more enjoyable. So to summarize...drink this beer with a glass.

Told ya so. Good beer is best served in a glass. Always drink that way. Just like you said, the flavors and aromas mix better and are shown how the brewmasters intended them.
