... and i'm looking for something new to drink. Jager and Soco have gotten old.

Looking to spend at most 40, any ideas?

gin is so so, I can't say i love it. i've had seagram's and it was okay.

Well, if you think Seagram's is ok, I suggest trying a higher end gin. As far as im concerned, the main stables for gin are Tanqueray, Bombay, and Beefeaters. If you have $40 to spend, maybe buy a few of those, for a little compare and contrast (no two gins taste the same IMO). Try straight, over ice for an idea of the taste. If you don't want to drink straight, mix with tonic water, and lime wedge. A few other great gins to get are Plymouth, Hendricks, Tanqueray Rangpur, Tanqueray No. 10 (the one in my avatar), and Boodles. You really develop a taste for the stuff, then we'll start talking martini's

Seagrams is just about as bottom shelf as you can get with gin save for a few. No. 10 is about as top shelf as you can get. You can't even compare the taste between the two. In fact, I would try regular Tanq before I would try No. 10.

eh price isn't that big of an increase, plus it's my birthday!
