Default Long Island Iced Tea

There are many variations of this, so feel free to post more versions.

Ingredients:

1/2 oz Vodka
1/2 oz Tequila
1/2 oz Light rum
1/2 oz Gin
1 dash Coca-Cola
Twist of Lemon peel (or lime)

Mixing instructions:

Mix all contents in a highball glass and sitr gently. Add dash of Coca-Cola for the coloring and garnish with lemon or lime twist.

Another version:

Ingredients:

1 part Vodka
1 part Tequila
1 part Rum
1 part Gin
1 part Triple sec
1 1/2 part Sour mix
1 splash Coca-Cola

Mixing instructions:

Mix ingredients together over ice in a glass. Pour into shaker and give ONE brisk shake. Pour back into glass and make sure there is a touch of fizz at the top. Garnish with lemon.

That's the version I would use if I were making one.

This is the recipe I used in the bar only I put [b]1/2[b] of the amount of Tequila becuase it's so overpowering and can ruin the drink.

this is the one I use, except I use a very small splash of Ameretto and a small splash of OJ to help smoothen up the taste.
Also, I never use a full part of Tequila as indicated in this recipe. Tequila is very overpowering and can ruin the ambience of the drink....also, I recommend using a gold tequila over a white/clear tequila.
Another hint...cut back a little on the sour mix...it creates a gooey drink slime layer on the tongue that's not really desirable.
