Default laguvalin 16 year old scotch

islay single malt, it's comparable to the caol ila i had, it may be the best scotch i've had

aroma is extremely complex, with many underlying hints

first taste is a little nutty, with hints of floral tastes, smokiness, tobacco, oak, and a nice peaty finish

very very smooth

highly recommended for the scotch aficionado

I still have yet to try a single cask scotch (only blended) But I will keep this review in mind once I start down that route

Single Cask is different from Single Malt. Single Malts can go through different Barrels and such to add different flavors. I think a single cask is single barrel. no second or third maturation barrels.

Hmm, ill check that out . It gets kinda confusing sometimes with so many terms. Single malt, single barrel, single cask...

Just had some Tuesday night at the Capital Grille, quite tasty. Nothing like having a $250 dinner complete with open bar on JP Morgan's tab.

When someone else is paying, open bar is the best invention known to man

Have you ever tried Johnnie Walker Blue Label? I haven't but would love to.
