La Fin Du Monde
I dont really know how to describe this beer but I must say I am not a big fan of it. The Terrible was WAY better to me. It's still not bad.....but not something I would drink regularly.

I didn't think it was worth all the hype either, but it was ok

Yea....I'll agree with that. It's just OK. Nothing that should be bragged about though

I actually liked Maudite better than La Fin.

Damn, I was hoping you would like it better, I bought a 4-pack of it last weekend, do you still have the Rogue?
If Maudite is better than La Fin, I HAVE to try it. Because I think LFDM is great.

La Fin Du Monde
Okay I'm going to see what all the fuss is about. Sometime this week I'm going to pick up a bottle. In the interest of getting an accurate tasting, what is the proper way to drink it? I don't want to not like it and then get told it was because I didn't perform some sacred blessing on it beforehand.

You're supposed to drink it from a brandy snifter. I believe it's not supposed to be super cold either.
I didn't care for it at all, even with the brandy snifter.

Snifter, although I still haven't broken down and bought one :P Should be drunk around 50 degrees, ie, pull it out of the fridge for 10 minutes or so before popping the cork and drinking it.
Not a beer for everyone - my favorite from their line is Maudite... but it has a nice champagne-like color and taste to it. Hopefully you'll enjoy

Its a pretty good beer.....Pull it out of the fridge, pour it, then let it sit. It needs to breath a little bit before drinking it.
I'm with Rich though, Maudite is damn good. Tres Pistoles is even better

I wasn't impressed the first time I had it. I tried it again a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it though.
