Default George d***el #12

None the less, its a very smooth bourbon to me. I love Jack Daniels, and this seems to take the cake over JD. Nice flavor, doesn't bite too much easy to sip on.

I just purchased a bottle yesterday after reading what one of the other posters wrote about it. Overall I thought it was pretty good especially compared to Jack. I think the No.12 just means it is 90 proof while the No.8 is 80 proof.

You definitely have to, especially if you're a fan of JD like I know you are

The No. 8 is aged 8 years and the No. 12 is aged........you guessed it, 12 years. Typically the longer a whisk(e)y is aged, the higher the proof will be

It was your post that actually convinced me to give George d***el a try. Thanks for clarifying. I knew the longer whisk(e)y was aged the higher the proof, but I did not know that the No.12 actually represented the years it had been aged (although it makes complete sense).
