Default Sam Adam's American Homebrew Winners 2006 (LongShot)

I bought a 6-pack of this at Central Market and I was too excited to wait for an "appropriate" time to start drinking it today. So, I just busted out a Boysenberry Wheat. Ugh, such a bad ass fruit beer. There is a very distinctive boysenberry taste in the beer. It goes perfect with the wheat taste in the beer. Alot of times I'm disappointed with wheat beers because it's just too wheaty but the boysenberry in this one makes it perfect. This one's a 10 in my book

I started a thread about the Long Shots, too. I didn't get any replies.

I liked the Boysenberr Wheat a lot. Just like you I thought it was a very distinct taste, without too much of a floury taste. However, I thought that it got a bit sweet near the end of a glass. I had a hard time finishing it all.

Oh I finished it all. The Old Ale was the one I had trouble finishing.
