On a serious note, I'm honestly trying to decide between a C6 and 335i for my daily. I'm currently leaning towards the BMW.

I was a true Porsche lover for many, many years. Honestly. Then I woke up, stopped drinking the kool-aid and realized they're just average sports cars that are way overpriced and overhyped, and are really nothing all that special. It's true more today than ever before.

That...was a lot of vagaries and bias, but whatever. To each his own. You can buy Pontiacs and I'll buy Porsches and we'll both be happy.

Nothing if you want an uncomfortable uncompromising all out performance car. By today's standards, they're just crude. Fine for a weekend brawler, but not for every day. Z06 has eclipsed the Viper in every way.

Whats even more sad about GM, is that i feel they replaced a better steering wheel (05 vette) to that abomination (06+ cars)
Here is an 05 steering wheel
06+ is the one in the other pic i posted

I wouldn't want either for a daily driver. That said, the new Viper will outperform the Z06...and the Z06 is nowhere near as desirable in terms of exclusivity. When you're paying $75,000+ for a toy, that becomes a factor.

For a DD the BMW may be the better choice. Me? I'd get the Vette, just because it's more my style. I owned a BMW once, and I doubt I ever will again.

The point of the Viper is to be a weekend car, though some do DD theres. I have driven 2 vipers and didn't feel that they are uncomfortable at all btw.

Everyone just needs to buy an M5 and move on with life, as it is, truly, the perfect daily driver- regardless of imperfections.

Yeah, I'm leaning towards the BMW, but I'm also wondering if I should wait till late this year/early next year for the 2008 BMW M3. That said, we'll see what happens. The best thing about the BMW is I can lease it and then trade it in for a M5 or M6 in three years.

the law of diminishing returns applies to interiors too
a 30k interior is better than a 20k,a 60k is better than a 40k,but is a 120k that much better than a 80k?

That steering wheel has a complete different set of function requirements to mesh with form. Not really a fair comparison, especially given today's "clean" styling.

Which one?? The Ferrari??? That wheel is badass, then again the 430 is basically a racecar...hence the fact you can change the suspension with the knob.

Yes. It has completely different function requirements than the corvette or Porsche wheel. Function defines, at least in part, form. Well, function constrains form; it's safe to say that.

Of course it does because while the Z06 is really meant for a racetrack, its meant for an OVAL racetrack. 430's are meant for F1 style tracks, meaning hairpin turns.

A rolls wouldn't even complete all of those. Honestly if your going to look for ALL three of those, Jaguar/Aston Martin type exotics is what you be looking at then. Comfort, drivability, power, and luxory are all there. Plus you can drive yourself...Rolls are meant to be driven in
