Default OK, so I finally tried some 1800 tequila last night

The liquor store didn't have the 1800 blanco that I wanted to try 1800 Blanco Tequila, so I just picked up the reposado(for $24.99). It pretty much tasted the way I thought it would, smooth and mouth watering Tequila isn't a liquor that I drink all the time, but I love it every once in awhile, because the taste is such a great departure from other spirits. Oh, and someone brought a bottle of Don Julio Anejo (that s*** is around 60 bucks a bottle) to the party I went to last night, I was like gotta try that. So I had some of that too, unfortunetaly I was far too f***ed up to really get any kind of sense of the quality. So, the moral of the story is, 1800 is good s***

i've found that i really hate taking shots of any type of tequila, if it is repasado tequila. it just goes down sooo damn harsh to me.

i remember when i first did tequila shots, it was 1800 repasado and i could do it all day.. lately i've found that if it is repasado, i'd rather make a margarita or some sort of mixed drink out of it, but if it is an anejo type tequila i can do tequila shots.

When I drink tequila, usually my favorite method is just straight on the rocks, so I can sip it. One good shot is, you take some tequila and fill a shot glass about 75% of the way up, take some sprite and fill the rest. Put some plastic wrap over top, slam it on the counter or bar, remove the wrap, then take the shot. It was , this was with anejo btw.
