Johnny Walker Black

Just picked up a bottle last night on impulse when I was at the liquor store. Picked up a few 12 packs of Widmer Hefeweizen since they were on deep discount.... Anyways is this a decent scotch? I didn't think to look or ask much before grabbing it and going...
What should I expect with this?

I'm no scotch expert, but I like Johnnie Walker Black alot. I like it better than J&B and Dewar's White Label, and Speyburn.

I never have had any really expensive scotch though. Absolom should be able to help you out

I haven't had JW Black, but I've had Red. It was good when I first opened the bottle. But I didn't care for it too much the next time I got into it.
