No doubt. There will be progress pics posted. If I get a good enough harvest, I'll see about sending those who brew their beer, some truly fresh hops.

Bad news, that freeze we had may have killed my dad's 3yo hops.

Won't be sure till the weather warms up again. Hopefully they will recover.

Looks like the older hops made it, but we aren't sure as to how the production will be. They have never produced a great amount, and I'm worried about that freeze f***ing them up. So far I can see 7 runners going up the trellis.

I also planted my hops that came in the mail. 5 'Zomes in all, and these will have a proper trellis. Planned is a 12 or so foot tall teepee type trellis.

Luckily we didn't have anything planted in the garden yet. We normall wait until after 4/15 before planting anything. It seems that we always have one last freeze. Planted maters, melons, taters, and hops last weekend.

Noticed the first signs of the hops sprouting the other day. I'll try to remember to get a pic or two.

I've not been able to get around to it yet. I leave when it's barely light, and get home at dusk. I hope to snap some this weekend.
