Castillo s***ed rum

I usually buy whiskey or Jager for liquor but I felt like something different and I was looking for a cheaper alternative to Captain Morgan and I saw this.

The Castillo was only $6.99 a Liter. I like to mix it with Dr Pepper, and for the taste and price, I probably won't buy any more Captain Morgan. I thought it was pretty damn good.

Anyone else here tried this stuff?

I've never even seen that stuff, then again, I don't usually buy rum. And if I do it's usually either Sailor Jerry, or Meyer's Dark.

It's okay for mixing. Definitely cheap.

Since last week, I think I've only bought rum once since I was 21, almost 24 now. But for as cheap and good as it is, I think I'll buy it more often. This is my 2nd Castillo bottle, I got the first one last week. The only other kind I've bought was Bacardi Gold.

So have you tried either of the other two varieties, or only the s***ed?

Only the s***ed so far. I like this one alot. I've had Bacardi Gold and wasnt too fond of it. I am a whiskey man though. If you request I might just try another kind.

I pour the drinks strong, and I have to work tomorrow, so I grabbed a MGD and I might put in a dip and not have any more tonight..but who knows. On Fri/Sat I get blackout drunk regularly, but during the week I like to get drunk but take it somewhat easy. I just couldn't believe how much cheaper the Castillo was than Captain.

me and my friends got a half gallon of castillo gold, that stuff is pure s***. we tried doing shots of it. nasty.
